This is a list of all the German players who are or were in the NFL. The most effective way to make it into the NFL is to play college football in the USA. In order to do this, it is good to play at least one year of high school football to get exposure to college coaches and get recruited to a bigger university. A good way for German players that are too old to play college football to get into the NFL is the International Pathway Program of the NFL.

Football in Germany keeps growing and the level of play with it. This is reflected by a higher number of German born players in the NFL in the recent years. Hopefully this trend continues, and we will see more and more Germans in the National Football League and hopefully add to this list of Germans in the NFL.

Sebastian Vollmer

Most successful of the Germans in the NFL. He won 2 Super Bowl Titles with the New England Patriots.
