Exercises where there is a triple extension (hip, knee, ankle) are particularly effective. <a href=\"https:\/\/tlap-sports.com\/en\/videos\/lower-body#videos-full-lower-body-explosive\">Cleans, box jumps<\/a> and other jumps are effective exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip 3: Shorter contact time on the floor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Shorter contact time on the ground can achieve higher speed during sprinting. To shorten ground contact time incorporate <a href=\"https:\/\/tlap-sports.com\/en\/videos\/speed-acceleration-explosive#broad-jumps-continued\">continuous broad jumps<\/a> or other repetitive jumps in your workouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip 4 to get faster: Longer stride length<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the stride length is increased, more distance can be covered at the same stride frequency. This results in a greater terminal velocity. <a href=\"https:\/\/tlap-sports.com\/en\/yoga-stretching\/\">Stretching<\/a> the lower body and especially the hips increase the stride length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip 5: More effective muscle function<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>More effective cooperation between the individual muscles reduces the resistance in the tissues.
